Junior League of Champaign-Urbana would like to extend a huge welcome to Valerie Williams!
Valerie Williams will be taking on the challenging task of replacing Jennifer Kamp as JLCU’s second office manager starting the week of June 22, 2015. Valerie is currently a sustaining member, and was an active member of JLCU from 2003-2012.
While Valerie was an active member she served on a variety of committees, including Chair of Membership, Books by the Bushel, and in many areas of Festival of Trees. As a sustainer, she has continued to volunteer as a room parent and a classroom volunteer in local schools, as well as serving on PTA. Valerie is a busy mother of four, and can be found in the evenings on various ball fields and in local gyms cheering on her children. In her small bits of free time, she enjoys tackling DIY projects around her house. Valerie is excited to be working more closely with the Junior League, and will have regular morning office hours starting in September.
The members of the Junior League of Champaign Urbana would like to collectively and sincerely thank the wonderful Jennifer Kamp for her 5 years in the role as JLCU’s first office manager. Jennifer has been very dedicated, organized, and has kept JLCU running! Jennifer was an active member of JLCU and served on a variety of committees, such as Finance Council, Presidents Council, and Community Impact Council.
JLCU members greatly appreciate Jennifer’s service, and wish her all the best in her new endeavors!
