Junior League of Champaign-Urbana held an abbreviated membership meeting in February in order to allow for more training time from the amazing Vicki Clark!
President Elect, Jenette Jurczyk, called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone.
The slate for 2017-2018 Board of Directors, Management Team and Nominating Committee was voted on by membership. The slate was confirmed and will start their new roles June 1, 2017.

Donna Cockburn thanked everyone for donating to our Kids in the Kitchen partners, the Don Moyer Boys & Girls Club. Donna also shared a letter from Austin’s Place thanking us for our help with last month’s DIAM. Our donations truly make a difference!
Trivia Night Update (Allie Teagarden)
$2413 was raised from entry, raffle, and 50/50 drawing tickets.

Gala Update (Michelle McDonough)
Spring Fling Farm-to-table dinner, in lieu of Gala, will be held on Friday, April 28, at Willow Creek Farm in Urbana.

Community Impact Council
Laura Gerhold, chair of Project Development committee, reminded everyone to take the Impact Survey that was sent via email. This survey helps the committee understand what JLCU members are passionate about in our community, and guide future discussions.
Loni Trimble, Executive Vice President, reminded members about dues season. Dues are due March 13. Pay online or contact Valerie Williams if you are interested in setting up a payment plan.

Shining Star: Kristi Hoss nominated Amy Riha for saving the day with a last minute location for our December holiday party. The new location at Larry Kanfer Gallery was perfect after our first location fell through.
2017-2018 placements are being finalized and will be announced mid-March.
March General Membership Meeting will be held on March 14 and will have a 7:30 p.m. start-time to accommodate for Bright Starts.
